I should state right off the bat that aside from having an opinion, the issue of the LGBTQ movement doesn't affect me in the least. I don't have a dog in the fight, and my life isn't made better or worse one iota by it.

But, on to that opinion thing:

I believe that “gender affirming care” is evil and wrong. I think the whole PR push for the Trans Movement is gross and disgusting. But before you liberals try to lynch me, and you conservatives start to applaud…

I think the whole trans movement “explosion” is nothing more than a distraction. Conservatives, ask yourselves how does the trans movement affect you, personally? I mean, aside from offending you.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. It doesn’t.

If you have a child and are upset that the school system is promoting the trans movement to your kids, then too bad, that’s on you as a parent. If teachers exert more influence on your child than you do, that’s your failure as a parent. If you don’t want your child exposed to drag queens, then don’t allow them to be exposed to drag queens. It’s not the job of teachers, or the school system, or the media, or the entertainment industry, or the government for that matter, to raise your kids. That’s your job. And if you’re doing your job right, then your 7-year-old daughter won’t come home from school and say, “I’m a really a boy.” Because if she does, then you’re the one that fucked up. I know it's much easier to blame someone else, but sorry, it's on you.

The left wants our schools to promote liberal values. The right wants our schools to promote traditional Christian values. Our left/right, binary brains only seem to comprehend one thing – pick a side and that’s the “right side to be on.”

The whole left/right division is manufactured. It’s a created division to get you to hate the people that disagree with you. You can argue that the ruling class are pushing far left ideologies to destroy the world, but the left can make the same argument that the ruling class are pushing intolerance and hate. And both sides are right, but both sides are just playing the game that you’re being told to play. As long as you’re hating your neighbor, then you aren’t focused on what the rulers are doing.

When it comes to the “trans movement” as an ideology, it all boils down to personal responsibility. It’s your job to take care of yourself and your loved ones. If you have no issue with your kids learning that stuff, fine. If you think it’s a great idea to have drag queen story hours, then fine, it’s your child, take them, or let them ride your shoulders for Pride Parades if you think your child will benefit from it. But if you do have an issue with all that junk, then do something about it. Homeschool, un-school, or spend some time each and every day to find out what your child is learning at school and talk to them about it. You don’t have to hate anyone or start a protest or picket the library/school/department of education.

It’s pretty damn simple. Live your life the way you think is best and stop trying to get everyone on the same side. It will never happen. And when you’re feeling all morally superior, just remember that you’re acting the exact same way as the “other side.” You both want to legislate morality and want the power of the state to promote your values, instead of the other side’s values. Stop giving up all your power to the authorities. I know you think it’s a battle that you have to fight because it’s “good vs. evil” but just remember, the “other guys” think the exact same thing.

How nice, you liberals and conservatives have so much in common! Now how about we try a little “live and let live.” Y’know, just for a change.
